1. Who runs this app

YOU is provided by Nuanced Tech e.U., operated by Dominik Maruszczak. If you're a client, your coach invited you to use this app to manage your training with them. These terms apply to everyone using the app — coaches and clients alike.

2. What data we collect

• Your account details (name, email, contact info)
• Workout, training, and progress data you or your coach enter
• Messages exchanged between coaches and clients through the app
• Any health-related notes you choose to add (e.g. injuries, recovery)
• Connected fitness data if you link a third-party service (e.g. Strava)

3. Why we collect it

To run the app's core functions: showing training plans, tracking progress, enabling AI-assisted coaching chat, and letting coaches and clients communicate.

4. Who sees your data

• Your coach — manages your training and can see the data relevant to that.
• Nuanced Tech — as the operator of the app, we process this data to run the service.
• Service providers we use to run the app — cloud hosting (Supabase, Railway, Vercel) and AI processing (Anthropic, for chat features). These providers only process data to help us run the app — they don't use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. If you're a client, start by contacting your coach — or reach us directly at hello@ownurself.app and we'll route it appropriately.

6. How long we keep your data

Your data is kept while you're an active user of the app. If you end that relationship or delete your account, you can request export or deletion of your data.

7. Acceptable use

The app is for coordinating training between coaches and clients. Please don't use it to share content unrelated to coaching, attempt to access data that isn't yours, or otherwise misuse the service.

8. No medical advice

YOU is a training and coaching tool, not a medical service. Nothing in the app — including AI-assisted chat — constitutes medical advice. If you're dealing with pain or injury, stop and talk to your coach or a medical professional.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. The latest version is always available at this URL.
